Uddhav Thackeray Calls For Election of Election Commissioner

Uddhav Thackeray demanded the election of the Election Commissioner of India, arguing if the President can be elected, so should the EC. He criticized the Centre’s ‘One Nation, One Election’ bill, suggesting it diverts attention from more pressing issues. Thackeray also urged the Maharashtra government to fulfill its promise of raising the Ladki Bahin scheme stipend from Rs 1,500 to Rs 2,100.
