Visa Fee Rise Won’t Hit Indian IT Sector Hard: NASSCOM

NASSCOM responded to the U.S. clarification on the H-1B visa fee hike, stating that Indian IT companies in the U.S. may increase local hiring. However, the impact on India’s IT sector will be minimal. It noted that top ten Indian firms secured 14,792 H-1B visas in 2015, expected to drop to 10,162 by 2024.
