Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi announced that a new indigenous warship is being inducted into the fleet every 40 days. India currently operates 145 warships and submarines, with a goal of expanding the fleet to over 200 by 2035. He emphasized that the Navy’s focus is on strengthening maritime capabilities to effectively tackle emerging challenges.
