Air Marshal Amar Preet Singh Named Next IAF Chief

The Indian government has appointed Air Marshal Amar Preet Singh as the next Chief of the Air Staff, effective Sep 30, 2024. Currently the Vice Chief of the Air Staff, Singh has nearly 40 years of service, including roles as a Qualified Flying Instructor and Experimental Test Pilot. He  received prestigious awards for his distinguished service.
