Rajya Sabha To Replace 100- Year old Boiler Act

Rajya Sabha on Wednesday began discussions on The Boilers Bill, 2024, aimed at repealing the over 100-year-old Boilers Act, 1923. The bill seeks to regulate boilers, ensure safety from steam-boiler explosions, and establish uniformity in registration. Union Minister Piyush Goyal introduced the bill for consideration and passing in the House.
