Congress Expresses “Deep Concerns” Over Insecurity Of Minorities In Bangladesh

Congress expressed “deep concern” over “atmosphere of insecurity” faced by religious minorities in Bangladesh. It cited the recent arrest of religious leader and spokesperson of the Bangladesh Sammilit Sanatan Jagran Jote, Chinmoy Krishna Das. Congress’ Pawan Khera called on central government to press Bangladesh to take necessary steps to ensure safety and security of minorities in Bangla.
