Punjab Farmers Announce Delhi Chalo Protest On Dec 6 Over Unmet Demands

Farm leaders from the Kisan Mazdoor and Samyukta Kisan Morcha have announced a peaceful “Delhi Chalo” march on Dec 6 to press for long-standing demands. Since February, farmers are demanding the implementation of the Swaminathan Commission’s formula for MSP, a legal guarantee on crop MSP, and full loan waivers. KMSC’s Jagjit Singh will begin an indefinite fast on Nov 26.
