TMC Slams Govt Over Women’s Quota And Delimitation

TMC accused the government of using early implementation of women’s reservation law as a pretext to push its delimitation agenda. It said it supports women’s reservation, but the government cannot rush a bill that could change India’s political map using the 2011 Census. The Parliament of India meets April 16-18 to discuss quotas bill amendments.
