One Nation-One Election Bill Will Be Sent To Parliament Panel: Amit Shah

Union Home Minister Amit Shah told Lok Sabha that the government was ready to send One Nation One Election (ONOE) bills to a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) for a broader consultation. He said it was suggested by PM Modi himself. Shah’s statement came amid an uproar in Lok Sabha as Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal tabled the amendments to enable simultaneous polls.
