During the second phase of West Bengal polls, polling in Howrah district’s Balli area was disrupted after an EVM malfunction triggered tension at a booth. Heated arguments escalated into a clash among voters. CRPF staff quickly intervened, bringing the situation under control and dispersing the crowd. Two individuals were detained as CAPFs restored order.
