Telangana Has Brought A New Law To Streamline Revenue Administration

Congress government in Telangana introduced the Telangana Bhu Bharati (Record of Rights in Land) Bill, 2024, replacing the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 2020. Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy stated the new law aims to streamline the system and fulfill the election promise to eliminate the problematic Dharani portal.
