Hyderabad: BJP Leader Quits Party To Support BRS In Jubilee Hills By-Poll

Cherka Mahesh, former BJP joint-convener in Jubilee Hills, resigned to support BRS candidate Maganti Sunitha in the upcoming by-election. Mahesh criticized BJP’s failure to uphold BC reservations and accused its leadership of opportunistic politics. A former BRS leader, he returned to support Sunitha after MLA Maganti Gopinath’s death triggered the by-poll.
