Who Is Rakesh Agarwal? New National Investigation Agency Chief

Rakesh Aggarwal, a 1994-batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of the Himachal Pradesh cadre, has been appointed Director General of the National Investigation Agency (NIA), India’s premier counter-terrorism law enforcement body, by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet. He was already serving as Special Director General of the NIA.
