The ONGC blowout fire in Irusumanda, Konaseema district, AP, which had raged for five days, has finally been brought under control. Personnel cleared debris from the burnt heavy machinery using cranes, ensuring the site’s safety. Also, a water umbrella was prepared for installation at the gas well along with a blowout preventer to lower temperatures.
