Report Recommends Prosecution Of Yediyurappa, Sriramulu In COVID Scam

A report by retired High Court judge Michael D’Cunha, probing the alleged COVID-19 scam in Karnataka, has recommended the prosecution of former Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa and Health Minister B Sriramulu under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act. The recommendation follows allegations of irregularities in the 2020 procurement of three lakh PPE kits from Chinese companies.
