Gujarat Increases Retirement Gratuity Limit To ₹25 Lakh

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has approved a 25% increase in the retirement and death gratuity limit for state government employees and officers, raising it from ₹20 lakh to ₹25 lakh. The decision, aligning with the central government’s policy, will benefit those retiring after January 1, 2024. The move is expected to have an annual financial impact of ₹53.15 crore.
