Modi Slams Congress, Calls ‘Garibi Hatao’ India’s Biggest Jumla

Hitting back at Congress over its frequent “jumla” jibes at the BJP, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday stated that the “biggest jumla in India” was the Congress’s ‘Garibi Hatao’ slogan. He alleged that the promise had been used by four generations of Congress leaders during elections without delivering on its promise, accusing them of misleading the public.
