Hemant Soren Resigns As Jharkhand CM, Set To Take Oath Again On November 28

Hemant Soren resigned as Jharkhand Chief Minister following JMM’s resounding victory in the assembly elections. He staked a claim to form a new government and will take oath on November 28. The JMM-led coalition secured 56 seats, defeating the BJP-led NDA. Soren, who led a campaign focused on social welfare, will be sworn in for his fourth term as CM.
