Kerala BJP Leader Criticizes Assam’s Beef Ban

Kerala BJP vice president Major Ravi criticised Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma’s move to ban beef consumption in hotels and public places. Ravi said that not understanding the difference between beef and cow would give a wrong message to people. He also said that if somebody wants to eat, they should be able to. “If you suddenly ban beef, this will give a wrong message to people,” he said.
