Congress Launches Nationwide Campaign To Save MNREGA

Congress has started a nationwide ‘Save MNREGA’ campaign, opposing changes that weaken rural employment guarantees. Protests in Uttarakhand, Bihar, and other states will include village outreach. The party aims for 2.5 lakh gram sabhas to pass resolutions restoring MNREGA’s original rules and protecting rural jobs and local governance.
