Ration Delivered Home Before Diwali In Tamil Nadu

The Tamil Nadu government will deliver PDS rations to the homes of senior citizens and differently-abled cardholders on October 6 and 7, ahead of Diwali. Under the “Thayumanavar” scheme, about 21.7 lakh beneficiaries will avoid queues. Items like rice, sugar, pulses, and kerosene will be dropped at doorsteps using e‑POS and electronic scales.
