86 Indians Killed Abroad In 2023: MoS Kirti Vardhan Singh

MoS Kirti Vardhan Singh said as many as 86 Indians were attacked or murdered abroad in 2023. This is a steep increase from the previous two years of 29 cases in 2021 and 57 in 2022. Of these, 12 were in US, and 10 each in Canada, UK and Saudi Arabia. “Safety of Indians abroad is foremost priority for the government. Our missions and posts remain vigilant and monitor these incident,” he said.
