Delhi LG Approves 232 GDMO Appointments To Fill Doctor Vacancies

Delhi Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena has approved the appointment of 232 General Duty Medical Officers (GDMOs) to fill critical vacancies in government hospitals, including Lok Nayak, Raja Harish Chandra, and others. These Group ‘A’ officers, selected through UPSC, aim to address the shortage of permanent doctors, providing relief to the healthcare system, which relies on ad-hoc appointments.
