DK Shivakumar Defends Review Of BPL Card Decision, Slams BJP

Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar accused opposition of nitpicking and claimed that the Congress has been always committed to pro-poor policies. He was responding to criticism over recent government decisions to review Below Poverty Line (BPL) cards. He defended the Congress’s track record while lashing out at BJP and JD(S). BJP is only trying to find stones in the curd, he said.
