Rajnath Singh To Meet Chinese Defence Minister At ASEAN Summit

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will meet Chinese counterpart Dong Jun on the sidelines of the ASEAN summit in Laos, starting November 20. This will be the first ministerial-level meeting since the completion of disengagement in eastern Ladakh and India’s resumed patrolling in Depsang. The meeting is seen as a confidence-building measure following the 2020 border clashes.
