SC Denies Bail Plea For Activist In 2020 Delhi Riots Case

The Supreme Court on Monday declined to entertain activist Gulfisha Fatima’s bail plea in the 2020 Delhi riots case, citing the ongoing proceedings in the Delhi High Court. Fatima, accused under UAPA for her alleged role in the riots, has been in custody for over four years. The top court directed the high court to consider her bail request on November 25.
