In a gun battle at Jakuradhor, Manipur’s Jiribam district, 10 suspected militants were killed, and two CRPF jawans were injured on Monday. The clash occurred when militants set fire to shops in a Meitei-majority area. The CRPF retaliated, killing the militants. Five civilians remain missing. The region has been rocked by ethnic violence since May 2023, displacing over 65,000 people.
