Karnataka Assembly Will Not Be Removed Temples In Waqf Lands

CM Siddaramaiah has promised in the Karnataka Assembly that temples built on Waqf properties will not be removed. If eviction notices are given to such temples, they will be taken back. The announcement came amid a debate over the controversy over eviction notices issued by the Waqf and Minority Affairs Minister BZ Zameer Ahmed Khan echoed the assurance, saying no farmer or temple should face eviction.
