The High Court of Kerala has reprimanded the media regarding investigative cases, suggesting that the media should exercise restraint and avoid acting as judicial officers. It clarified that while freedom of expression and speech are fundamental rights, the media does not have the license to judge what is right or wrong. Notably, media trials contribute to a loss of trust in the judiciary.
