China has lodged a complaint with the World Trade Organization, alleging that India is providing subsidies on electric vehicles and batteries in violation of global trade rules. Indian Commerce Secretary Rajesh Agarwal stated that the allegations are under review. China has raised similar concerns against Turkey, Canada, and the European Union as well.
