Telangana Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar described the ongoing comprehensive family survey as a historic event for the state. He urged the public to actively participate in the survey, which is being held with the help of 87,000 enumerators across Telangana. He said that all data will remain confidential and also clarified that the survey will not lead to any cuts in welfare schemes.
