Sonowal To Flag Off Cargo Vessels, Launch New Promotion Scheme

Union Shipping and Waterways Minister Sarbananda Sonowal will flag off three cargo vessels, launching a new Cargo Promotion Scheme and Scheduled Cargo Vessel Services along National Waterways 1 and 2. The routes will connect Varanasi, Patna, and Guwahati. The Guwahati-bound vessel will follow the Indo-Bangladesh protocol route, which remains unaffected by the ongoing unrest in Bangladesh.
