Punjab Govt Moves To Dismiss DSP Over Lawrence Bishnoi Custody Interviews

The Punjab & Haryana High Court reprimanded Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav for his media statements regarding Lawrence Bishnoi’s interviews in police custody. The court questioned the detention of Bishnoi in CIA Kharar and demanded an investigation. Seven officers, including DSP Gursher Singh Sandhu, were suspended after the interviews, with DSP Sandhu now facing dismissal based on the SIT report.
