Zelensky Calls For Tighter Export Controls After Russia’s Drone Attacks

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced in a video address that Russia deployed over 2,000 Shahed drones and missiles using Western components against Ukraine in October. He urged for stricter controls on the export of these special components, emphasizing that this includes more than 170,000 parts such as microchips and processors sourced from companies in China, Europe, and America.
