Woman Gives Birth In Toilet, Baby Dies After Minutes

A woman gave birth to a baby in the toilet of a civil hospital in Meghalaya’s Ri-bhoi. The baby died minutes later at Nongpoh Civil Hospital. Monalisa Langi was first taken to Umden Primary Health Centre after experiencing labor pain and was referred to the hospital. She had severe labor pain again and was given a pain relief pill. She went into labor while in the toilet and delivered the baby.
