The Uttarakhand Madrasa Board plans to introduce Sanskrit as an optional subject in over 400 madrasas, aligning with CM Pushkar Singh Dhami’s initiative to integrate madrasa students with mainstream education. Chairman Mufti Shamoon Qasmi emphasized the benefits of offering both Arabic and Sanskrit, noting that the NCERT syllabus has already boosted student performance.
