A US man, Gary Kristensen, achieved his dream of sailing in a giant pumpkin by traveling 73.5 km on the Columbia River. His pumpkin, named “Punky Loafster,” weighed over 555 kg and took 26 hours to navigate. Kristensen carved the pumpkin into a boat. Despite facing challenging weather conditions, he completed the journey, setting a new world record for the longest trip by a pumpkin boat.
