The first exit polls for US presidential elections suggest that nearly three-quarters of the voters believe democracy is under threat. Democracy and economy ranked the most important issues for voters. These are followed by abortion and immigration, as per the data. The poll showed 73% of voters believed democracy was in jeopardy, against just 25% who said it was secure.
