Turkish Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing After Pilot Collapses Mid-Air

A Turkish Airlines flight from Seattle to Istanbul made an emergency landing in New York after pilot Ilcehin Pehlivan collapsed mid-air. Despite medical efforts, the 59-year-old pilot could not be revived. The flight landed at JFK Airport around 6 am, eight hours post-departure. Turkish Airlines expressed condolences to Pehlivan’s family and confirmed he had passed a health examination in March.
