Trinamool Leader Fatally Shot In Murshidabad, West Bengal

Tensions arose in Baharampur, Murshidabad district, West Bengal, after local TMC leader Pradip Dutta was shot dead while out for a morning walk on Wednesday. Unidentified assailants fired 7 bullets at him from close range. Locals heard the shots and found him bleeding; he was taken to a nearby hospital but was declared dead on arrival. Police are investigating the motive behind the murder.
