Tirupati Laddoo Row: Union Health Ministry Issues Show Cause Notice To AR Diary

Union Health Ministry issued a show cause notice to AR Dairy. It is one of the companies which supplied ghee to the Tirupati temple. The notice has been sent by FSSAI. AR Dairy came under scrutiny after a report by NDDB CALF, found that ghee samples used in the famed Tirupati laddoos contained foreign fats, including palm oil, fish oil, beef tallow, and lard (pig fat).
