Two burglars broke into the bungalow of former minister Amarjit Singh in Kanpur on Wednesday afternoon. The theft was interrupted by a servant who alerted the family, leading to a chase. While one thief escaped, the other, identified as Baba from Pukhrayan, was apprehended after trying to hide under a blanket. Police are investigating to locate his accomplice. A case has been filed against him.
