TG Governor Approves Ordinance To Strengthen HYDRA’s Authority

Telangana Governor Jishnudev Verma has approved the new ordinance introduced by the state govt to grant additional powers to HYDRA. This ordinance establishes a special act for HYDRA and adds Section 374B to the GHMC Act of 1955. Reports indicate that this act has been drafted to empower HYDRA to protect government properties, ponds, and canals up to the Outer Ring Road (ORR).
