Terrorists Engage Security Forces In Srinagar Encounter, Area Cordoned Off

An encounter erupted in Srinagar’s Khanyar locality on Saturday as security forces engaged terrorists following a cordon and search operation. The operation began after officials received intelligence about terrorists’ presence. When the search party was fired upon, forces retaliated, leading to an ongoing exchange of gunfire. As of now, there are no reports of casualties from either side.
