The food safety task force in Hyderabad has uncovered a significant violation at Konark Tea, a popular wholesaler. During an inspection on October 8, they found large quantities of adulterated loose tea powder, which was packaged for distribution. Seized items included 300 kg of tea powder, 200 kg of coconut shell powder, and non-food grade colorants, along with artificial flavors.
