The rise in pollution is attributed to stubble burning, with levels now 10 percent higher than last year. The city recorded an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 171, with particularly poor air quality noted in areas such as Kapra, Bolarum, Pathancheru, Somajiguda, and Sanathnagar.
