Telangana: Hyderabad Authorities Begin Demolition Of Illegal Houses Along Musi River

Hyderabad authorities have started demolishing illegal houses along the Musi River bed for the Musi Riverfront Development Project. Located in Malakpet, about 150 vacated homes are being removed. Despite residents’ concerns over timing and the readiness of alternate housing, the government is proceeding with the demolitions, facing support from opposition parties for the affected families.
