Tamil Nadu: Search Intensified For Leopard After Fatal Attack On Child In Valparai

The Tamil Nadu Forest Department has intensified the search for a leopard that fatally attacked six-year-old Absara Khatun in Valparai, Coimbatore district, as her parents looked on in horror. The incident occurred near a stream close to the Oosimalai Tea Estate when the leopard suddenly emerged from the forest. Despite efforts to drive the animal away, the child was critically injured.
