Chicken prices have surprised meat lovers following the Dussehra festival. On this Sunday, people lined up in front of shops in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, leading to crowds outside chicken stores. However, prices vary between the two states. At the beginning of Oct, chicken was priced at Rs. 200 per kg, which rose to Rs. 230 last week. Today, the price has increased to Rs. 260.
