Seems Kalyug Has Arrived: High Court On Elderly Couple’s Alimony Battle

Allahabad High Court made a unique observation while hearing an alimony case of an elderly couple aged 76 and 80. The court said that such legal battles were a cause of concern and “it seems that ‘Kalyug’ has arrived”. Munesh Kumar Gupta, and his wife, were engaged in a property dispute since 2018. They started living separately. The woman is demanding an alimony of ₹15,000 from her husband.
